Nearly 25,000 homes in south-east Queensland woke up experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after powerful weather events swept through the area, generating wind gusts reaching 109km/h.
Massive Hailstones and Widespread Destruction

Weather Forecast
Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along large portions of Queensland's east this coming days as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tuesday was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with continued storm activity predicted across multiple regions of both states.

Public health experts warned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, specifically given the ongoing climate situation.
This alert comes after past events where comparable situations led to substantial respiratory problems in the area.
